Colorado Supreme Court
Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel
Promoting Professionalism. Protecting the Public.
The Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel regulates the practice of law from the beginning of a lawyer’s career to its end. Attorney Admissions is the first stop within the regulatory system for those seeking a full license to practice law in the state of Colorado, either by examination, on motion, or UBE score transfer. In addition to overseeing the different types of licenses, certifications, and authority to practice law in Colorado, the office also administers the Colorado Bar Exam and conducts character and fitness review of those applicants seeking to become fully-licensed attorneys. All of this is done with the primary goal of protecting the public and promoting professionalism.
