GUIDE TO THE COLORADO ATTORNEY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (CAAP)

A voluntary & confidential program for Attorneys sponsored by the
Colorado Supreme Court

WHERE TO TURN:

Attorneys who take others into their confidence or have responsibility for the well being of others are faced with unique and complex situations that may impact their personal lives.

The primary goal of the Colorado Attorney Assistance Program (CAAP) is to confidentially help the attorney with personal problems. This program is being provided through Mines and Associates, P.C.

The CAAP provides assessment, referral and solution focused therapy for you and assists you in obtaining, the most effective treatment while ensuring enhanced quality service.

HOW IT WORKS:

The CAAP advisor will meet with you to discuss plans for resolution of your issues or concerns. If further intervention is indicated, you will be referred to the best help available for your need. The CAAP can help with family, living and work issues.

CONFIDENTIALITY:

Use of your CAAP is strictly voluntary and confidential. Your contact with the assistance program and your Counselor will not be discussed in any way without written permission. There will be no information in your personnel file pertaining to the use of the program. The CAAP offices are located away from our workplace to provide as much privacy and convenient accessibility as possible. Offices are handicapped accessible.

• Depression
• Drug/Alcohol Concerns
• Relationship Problems
• Financial Problems

• Work-Related Issues

APPOINTMENTS:

CAAP sessions are free for you. When you call, you will be promptly scheduled for an appointment or telephone consult in your residence area. Office hours are flexible for your convenience.
