Rule 252.2.Establishment
(a) There is established the Colorado Attorneys' Fund for Client
Protection to
mitigate claimants for losses caused by dishonest conduct committed by
attorneys
admitted to practice in this state.
(b) There is established, under the supervision of the Supreme Court of
Colorado, the Colorado Attorneys' Fund
for Client Protection Board of Trustees, which
shall receive, hold, manage and disburse from the fund such funds as may from
time to
time be allocated to the fund.
(c) These Rules shall be
effective for claims filed with the board on or after July 1, 1999, and the
Board shall not pay claims for losses incurred as a result of dishonest
conduct committed prior thereto.
