In order to protect the public, the Colorado Supreme Court regulates and prevents the practice of law by individuals who are not licensed to practice law in Colorado. To achieve this goal, the Colorado Supreme Court Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel investigates and prosecutes complaints involving the unauthorized practice of law (UPL).
